Enablement Support Worker

Job Introduction

We are looking for Qualified Enablement Support Workers with a minimum qualification level of a NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in health and social care.  The qualification is a work based qualification with a combination of practical 'on the job' observations and portfolio of evidence and experience.  Candidates that do not have a relevant qualification will not be shortlisted at this time as we do not currently have any trainee vacancies in these areas.

This role is to work within the Bradford Enablement Support Team (BEST) and the Extra Care Schemes for Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city. 

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Support individuals in residential/ community settings
  • To support with daily living tasks
  • Document accurate records on digital devices
  • Support with personal cares
  • Support individuals to remain independent as long as feasible
  • Treat individuals with dignity and respect
