Band SO1: £34,434 - £36,363

 

Based on 37 hours per week x 1 post

 

Temporary until 10th May 2026

 

Based at: The Digital Exchange Hub

 

This is your chance to be part of something extraordinary. Delivering work deep within Neighbourhoods providing a range of resources that will improve the environment.

 

Working with a wide range of partners daily, specifically Neighbourhood Area offices, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of works that will tackle and support communities in improving the environment. This will include managing operations such as waste clearance, gully cleans, fly-tipping, nuisance vehicles as well as other external partnership working. 

 

The suitable candidate will require excellent organisational and interpersonal skills as well as a strong IT background particularly using Microsoft software.

 

You will support the Programme Lead to successfully implement the development and delivery of the NEAT Programme, internally and externally, by working in partnership with Area Offices, Highways, Police, contractors, Environmental Enforcement, Housing Organisations, facilitating and organising structured focus groups, in engaging and involving stakeholders and communities in local environmental improvements, development and delivery.

 

To support the efficient and effective delivery and evaluation of agreed projects by planning, monitoring and controlling specific assigned project(s) from start up to completion using recognised Project Management methods and tools.

 

To support the implementation of embedding of behaviour change into the working practice of partners across the district within communities.
