To work in partnership with other agencies in order to prevent and tackle Anti-Social Behaviour during the City of Culture 2025 events, using problem solving, interventions and legislative powers where appropriate.
To be ready for this opportunity you need to possess the relevant experience/qualifications:
- Experience of partnership working with all relevant statutory sector agencies (especially the Local Authority, health and criminal justice agencies) at all levels
- A good working knowledge of ASB legislation, including non-statutory interventions
- Carrying out investigations and preparing cases for Court hearings in child protections, civil criminal courts
- Practical experience of working with the specialist domestic violence voluntary sector
- A good appreciation of risk assessment and risk management
- A working knowledge of confidentiality issues and the handling of sensitive data, including an understanding of the data protection legislation
- Effective communication at all levels with an ability to present ideas using a variety of formats, including written and oral reports
- Ability to negotiate and influence in order to achieve positive outcomes
- Able to initiate and implement cross partner development and learning
- NVQ 4 or equivalent in a related subject area, e.g., social sciences or humanities plus at lest 2 years experience in related field
- Experience of partnership working with all relevant statutory sector agencies (especially the Local Authority, health and criminal justice agencies) at all levels or experience within a large multi-functional public sector or similar organisation.
The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.
