Programme Assistant – Healthy Activities
- Contracted hours - 21 Hours per week
- Location - Hybrid working across the AUKBD Community Hubs and community settings across Bradford District
- 5 weeks holiday, plus Bank Holidays (Pro Rata)

We are looking for someone to join our team in this exciting new role to support the successful delivery of AUKBD’s range of Health Activities with a specific focus on the Communities in Motion programme.
The key responsibilities for the role are;
- Support the organisation and delivery of physical activity sessions and mass participation events.
- Assist with participant registration, attendance monitoring, and data entry.
- Help prepare venues, resources, and materials for activities and events.
- Provide practical support during activities and events.
- Support recruitment and coordination of volunteers.
- Maintain accurate participant and attendance records using Charity Log.
- Support collection of feedback, case studies, and evaluation information
This is an interesting and varied position for someone who wants to make a positive impact on wellbeing and social connections across the Bradford District.
Strong administration and communication skills are required for the role, together with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Please note that this role is subject to a DBS check, which will be arranged and paid for through Age UK Bradford District.
Salary £24,454.04 FTE per annum, actual £13,879.32 per annum
(based on 21 hours per week)
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays pro rata
Training will take place at our Wrose Community Hubs and the successful candidate will need to be flexible with working days through induction period
