The Public Mortuary and Forensic Science Centre is a facility operated by Bradford Council on behalf of HM Coroner West Yorkshire (Western) for the local authority areas of Bradford, Kirklees and Calderdale. It provides state of the art mortuary and forensic post mortem facilities. The ability to undertake minimally invasive digital autopsies to seek to determine cause of death. You will be required to assist in all aspects of minimally invasive digital autopsy procedures at the direction of the radiographer. The Facility works in close partnership with the local community to ensure that the needs of all communities are met. We are looking for technically proficient, compassionate and flexible technologist who consistently works to high standards. Applicants must be willing to participate fully and flexibly in the on-call service outside core operational hours, including at weekends and on bank holidays. A full driving licence is required. Applicants should possess a Certificate in Anatomical Pathology Technology or Level 3 Health Care Science (Anatomical Pathology Technology). To be paid at Senior APT (S02), holding a Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology or Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare Science (Anatomical Pathology Technology) is essential.
