Bradford Cyrenians provides a range of supported housing for vulnerable communities, Our services are flexible and user-led, with a focus on prevention, enabling individuals to take control of their lives.
We are recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer for our Supported Tenancies Offenders Project service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing the best possible support to our service users
Working flexibly between the hours of 8.00am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday.
Salary - £22500 pay award pending
The candidate needs to be highly motivated and have the passion, enthusiasm and commitment towards making a difference to the lives of vulnerable communities.
The STOP service is there to take referrals from voluntary and statutory agencies including services within the prison and criminal justice system, housing and homelessness sector, health, social care and support sector. To provide and promote practical help and support to service users in order to assist in the development of their life skills and enable them to secure and maintain independent accommodation i.e. become tenancy ready, secure tenants with landlords in line with the housing first model and/or look at alternative move-on accommodation routes.
To provide transitional support to establish service users in their new tenancy before referring to our floating support team or others operating in the district.
