Bridge - Senior Recovery Coordinator - Treatment Team

Job Introduction

We are on the look-out!  The Bridge Project has an exciting opportunity for an accomplished practitioner to join our team as a Senior Recovery Coordinator within New Vision Bradford. This is a rewarding opportunity where you can bring your experience, compassion and commitment, to inspire positive change and make a real difference.  If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

New Vision Bradford is a partnership between the Bridge Project, Create Strength Group, Project 6 and Waythrough.  Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult drug and alcohol service for the Bradford and Craven District, aiming to help people tackle the use of alcohol and drugs and reduce risk taking behaviours through dedicated prevention, intervention, and support.

This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to build trusted relationships and make a lasting contribution within the Treatment Team.  You will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality drug and alcohol treatment provision by supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey.  You will be working from our service sites throughout the district and be able to travel between locations.  Access to a vehicle with fully comprehensive business insurance would be desirable but not essential.

You will hold a small caseload and provide day to day coordination and team support.  This role will also provide coaching, mentoring and development of staff within the team.

In order to be considered for this role you will need 2 years’ full-time experience of working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems and/or people with complex and multiple needs within the last 4 years, as well as being able to demonstrate experience of case management and delivering care coordination in drug and alcohol use or a directly related field.

We are looking for someone who is committed and passionate, in this field of work and what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to help change lives.  Equally, you will be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to provide onsite day to day coordination and team support, as well as the ability to actively participate in new starter inductions and support the delivery of traineeships within the team.

There is an element of flexibility around working hours required by the postholder.  A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check is also a requirement of the post (the results of which would not necessarily exclude applicants from consideration).

Alongside a rewarding career, you’ll enjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive:

  • Competitive salary that reflects your skills and contribution
  • 32 days of annual leave to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside work
  • 5% employer pension contribution to support your long‑term financial security
  • A dedicated Learning & Development programme to help you grow and progress
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential advice whenever you need it
  • Death‑in‑service benefit worth three times your salary for added peace of mind
  • Refer‑a‑friend bonus of £500 when you help us bring great people on board
  • Two hours of monthly wellbeing time to pause, connect, and reset with your team
  • A programme of mindfulness activities to boost focus on overall wellbeing
  • Access to a Blue Light Card, giving you discounts across hundreds of retailers, restaurants, and leisure brands.

The Bridge Project is proud to be a Mindful Employer, championing a workplace where wellbeing truly matters.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults and to creating safe, inclusive services. All staff are expected to share this commitment.
