Careers and Employment Lead Adviser

Job Introduction

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Careers and Employment Lead Adviser to join SkillsHouse. The post–holder will manage a team of Employment and Careers Advisers in delivering high quality employability and skills services to Bradford residents across a range of settings. 

Applicants should be qualified to Level 6 in Information, Advice and Guidance.

The key purposes of the post are: 

  • To line manage a team of Employment and Careers Advisers in delivering impactful IAG across the Bradford district.
  • To carry out performance management and ensure that recording adheres to quality standards.
  • To support effective partnership working across the Bradford district

Some of the key competencies for candidates include:

  • Excellent team–working ability and organisational skills
  • Operating within strategic awareness
  • Ability to lead and develop others

Those invited to interview will be asked to give a short presentation, the focus of which will be shared in advance.

An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
