Careers and Employment Lead Adviser

Job Introduction

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Careers and Employment Lead Adviser to join SkillsHouse. The post–holder will manage a team of Employment and Careers Advisers in delivering high quality employability and skills services to Bradford residents across a range of settings.

Applicants should be qualified to Level 6 in Information, Advice and Guidance.

The key purposes of the post are:

To line manage a team of Employment and Careers Advisers in delivering impactful IAG across the Bradford district.
To carry out performance management and ensure that recording adheres to quality standards.
To support effective partnership working across the Bradford district

Some of the key competencies for candidates include:

Excellent team–working ability and organisational skills
Operating within strategic awareness
Ability to lead and develop others

Those invited to interview will be asked to give a short presentation, the focus of which will be shared in advance.

An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
