Job Introduction
We are the Asset & Facilties Managment Team, Office Services. We currently have 20 sites within our remit across the District and provide the day to day caretaking provision, H&S checks and building security to these sites. This post will have to cover evening meetings and some weekend work as and when required.
Caretaker (Mobile) based at Keighley Town Hall (but will cover other sites as necessary. We are looking for a Caretaker to join our dedicated team in the. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.
The main responsibilities of this role:
- Providing caretaking duties to sites ie opening / locking down sites
- Carrying out H&S checks ie weekly fire alarm testing and water checks
- Assisting Departments with meeting furniture room requests
- Assisting with deliveries as and when required.
- Covering evening meetings as and when required (this will be paid as overtime in addition to the 22.5 hrs).
- Covering other sites as and when required - a valid driving licence and use of a car is essential.
- This role does involve some cleaning tasks.
