Based at Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre, Cleckheaton Road, Low Moor, Bradford, BD12 0HQ

Bradford Council’s Leisure Service is the largest leisure provider in the district. Our organisation aims to provide a quality service in a friendly, clean, and safe environment. 

Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team. The role is crucial in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to our sports centre.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to deliver inclusive, inspiring and safe fitness sessions within a supportive environment. 

Role & Responsibilities Include

  • Design and plan fitness classes tailored to the needs and abilities of all ability levels
  • Provide clear instruction of the different movements and techniques required in the class
  • Monitor customers during activities / classes and provide advice if needed
  • Provide guidance and support to customers, ensuring their safety and comfort during the practice
  • Promote the benefits of attending regular fitness classes, such as increased flexibility, better stress management, and improved overall health and fitness
  • Maintain a clean, and safe environment

 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

 Qualification to instruct specific fitness classes, as an example; Studio Cycling, Yoga, Zumba or Kettlebells.
