Clean Air Zone (CAZ) Operations Officer (Part 6)

Job Introduction

The Clean Air Zone (CAZ) Operations team is expanding to take on the new workstream which covers the issuance and enforcement of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) issued for moving traffic contraventions under The Traffic Management Act 2004 (part 6). 


 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • processing data in relation to vehicle passage in the Bradford Clean Air Zone
  • monitoring and reporting issues with the Clean Air Zone infrastructure
  • providing information and advice to vehicle owners about the Zone itself, air quality, vehicle type compliance, emissions standards, taxation classes, retrofit solutions, exemptions to CAZ charges and Clean Air Funding Programmes.  
  • involved in identifying ways to improve and develop the management of the Clean Air Zone, making recommendations on the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of services.
