Contract Manager - Economic Development

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our team. The Strategic Programmes Team manages the delivery, quality and compliance of multiple funded programmes that support the regeneration of the Bradford District.  

Our most recent contracts involve working in Partnership with Bradford 2025 to delivery the City of Culture Capital Grants Programme, assuring quality and compliance processes to support delivery of the multi-million pound Shipley and Keighley Towns Fund and contract management of UK Shared Prosperity Fund.


Role Description

We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our dedicated team in Economic Development. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city. 

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage internally and externally funded, multi-million pound Programmes, ensuring all contractual performance and financial targets are met and Funders’ requirements are complied with
  • Set up and manage contract agreements, lead on full appraisal and monitoring of sub-contracted delivery and ensure audit responsibilities are compliant with internal and external systems and Management reports are provided as required
  • Lead partnership delivery of programmes internally and externally liaising with partners including those in senior positions e.g., business CEOs, senior members in the VCS sector and Council members.
