Digital Systems Support Officer – Case Management System Programme

Fixed Term / Secondment – 18 month Fixed Term Contract (Internal applicants must have approval from their line manager)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Systems Support Officer to support a significant programme of change within Adult Social Care, focused on the implementation of a new case management system.

Reporting to the Transformation and Business Change Manager, the post holder will provide vital transactional and administrative support to the operational programme team, helping to maintain project records, coordinate meetings and testing sessions, and keep configuration logs and action trackers up to date. The post holder will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the programme as it moves through system design and configuration, testing, training and implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative and technical support across projects, including visioning and co-production workshops, documentation, communications and general programme support.
  • Maintaining project trackers, action logs, risk logs and configuration records, ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
  • Supporting the scheduling and coordination of meetings, workshops, and testing sessions, including preparing agendas and taking notes where required.
  • Providing administrative support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including tracking test scripts and recording outcomes.
  • Supporting the project team to design and deliver a training programme that is accessible by a range of methods, to all levels of system users.
  • Supporting project communications by maintaining contact lists and distributing updates to stakeholders.
  • Providing general administrative and transactional support to the wider project team as needed.

The post holder must have: 

  • Experience providing administrative or transactional support in a project or operational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
