DOMESTIC BURSAR

25 hours per week, TERM TIME ONLY + 2 weeks

Band 6, SCP 7 – 11, £26,403 – £28,142 FTE. Pro rata for part time hours

 

Buckden House OEC is a well-established outdoor education centre. It provides a range of residential and day visits for primary and secondary schools, weekend stays for families and corporate away days. Located in the heart of the Dales village of Buckden, the centre is looking for a dynamic domestic bursar to work with our wide range of customers.

 

Duties range from making and taking phone calls, replying to emails, planning with contractors to ensure the centre is ready and available for the next group. A friendly manner and can-do attitude is crucial to the role.

The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.

 

An enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be required for this post.
