Enablement Support worker

Job Introduction

We are looking for either qualified or trainee enablement support workers to work days within the BEST team in all areas of the Bradford district. The available hours range from 17.5 to 31.5.  You will need a full UK driving licence for these roles. (Transport is provided).

We are looking for full and part time Qualified Enablement support workers to work days within Extra Care schemes, we do not currently have any trainee positions in these schemes .  To apply for these roles you must have a NVQ at minimum level 2 or equivalent vocational qualification.  These vacancies are currently in BD6 and BD22 (Oakworth, Keighley).

The positions have a 2-week rolling rota as follows:

Week one- Monday, Saturday, Sunday

Week two- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

The times of work would depend on the number of contracted hours, you would be required to work part of each of these days; we are unable to condense hours into less days working.

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Support individuals in residential/ Community settings
  • To support with daily living tasks
  • Document accurate records on digital devices
  • Support with personal cares
  • .Support individuals to remain independent as long as feasible
  • Treat individuals with dignity and respect
  • Full UK manual drivers licence
