Salary: £28,884 - £31,698 FTE per annum (£17,330.40 - £19,018.80 per annum, pro rata)

 

Location: Based in Central Bradford, working across the Bradford District 

 

This role is office based in central Bradford with group delivery in venues across the district. 

 

Hours: Part-time (22.2 hours per week)

We are looking for an Early Years Coordinator to lead on the planning and delivery of attachment-based group work with parents and 0-5 year olds who are accessing Early Help Services. This  exciting venture will be part of Youth in Mind: Connect (YiM Connect) , a new, VCSE-led partnership programme delivered by All Star Ents., Barnardo’s, Bradford District & Craven Mind (BDC Mind), Brathay Trust, Family Action and Invictus Wellbeing, supporting children, young people and families (CYPF) across Bradford District with emerging emotional and social wellbeing needs. The programme is led by BDC Mind and funded by Bradford Children and Families Trust, and is trauma-informed, relational and rooted in communities. YiM Connect mainly delivers evidence-based group support, with targeted one-to-one input to support engagement and group readiness, helping children and families access the right help at the right time.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organisation and planning of the Theraplay groupwork programme
  • Co-deliver group work sessions
  • Record sessions and collate evaluation from the groupwork programme
  • Line manage and supervise the Early Years Practitioner with whom you will deliver the programme.
  • Manage and Triage referrals.
  • Promote the group work amongst families and professionals, generating referrals, and ensuring families can access the sessions

 

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):

  • Experience in working in the Early Years and delivering evidence-based groupwork
  • Experience in developing groupwork programmes and organising delivery of programmes
  • Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced disclosure
