ISP Application Support and Development – AWS and RPA Automation

Job Introduction

We are looking for a talented developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform to join our dynamic team and help us on our journey to achieve savings and efficiencies for the organisation through process automation.

The role will report to the Web Services Manager which is part of our Application Support and Development team in Bradford IT Services.

 As an RPA Developer specializing in Microsoft Power Platform, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions primarily using Power Automate and Power Automate Desktop. Some power app, SharePoint and power BI development may be required. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Create custom applications using Power Apps to streamline business processes.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and our digital liaison officers to analyse business processes for automation.
  • Create and maintain documentation for RPA solutions, including process design documents and technical specifications.
  • Perform testing and debugging of RPA solutions to ensure quality and performance.
  • Provide support and maintenance for deployed RPA solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Power Platform technologies and best practices.

 Technical skills and ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an RPA Developer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Certification in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power Platform Fundamentals, Power Automate RPA developer associate).
  • Experience with AI and machine learning integration.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Centre of Excellence
