Job Introduction
Bradford Council’s IT Services are looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage and drive IT projects to completion.
The post holder will manage the complete life cycles of projects and minor works delivering solutions to meet the business requirements of Council Departments and Services. You will be expected to hit the ground running.
The post-holder will report to a Project Manager in the Digital Programmes and Projects Service and work alongside IT Services Business Relationship Managers, Solutions Architects, Technical Leads and Business stakeholders.
You will have extensive experience of working as a Project Manager in an IT Services environment demonstrating the essential specialist knowledge identified in the role profile. Ideally you will also have knowledge of prince2 / waterfall project methodology.
This is a key role that supports IT Services’ implementation of the IT Strategy and in turn supports the delivery of the Council’s Digital Strategy and Transformation Programme.
