Job Introduction

Title of Post: Children and Young Persons Domestic Abuse Worker (IDVA). 

 

The role is a wonderful opportunity to support children and young people impacted by domestic abuse; providing predominantly, 121 support to meet their individual needs, supporting improved outcomes. 

 

We are looking for someone with an IDVA qualification, who has experience of supporting young people and those impacted by domestic abuse. You really will be able to have a direct positive impact on improving the lives of the young people with whom you work. 

 

Based across JAMES sites (Keighley, Shipley and Holmewood); working across, various schools, public sites and client homes.

Salary: FTE £24,920 to £30,095, pro rata for 30hrs (dependant on experience and reviewed after probationary period)

Contract; 30 hrs per week. Contract is maternity cover until March 2026 (with potential recommissioning). Job share would be considered
