Job Introduction
The Markets Service is part of the Sport & Leisure Service within the Department of Environment and operates major retail indoor markets in Bradford City Centre and Keighley Town Centre and outdoor markets at Shipley, Bingley & Ilkley. In addition, the service operates a Wholesale Market and delivers a number of independent open air market style events.
Our new multi million pound market in Darley Street along with its open air market courtyard opened in July last year.
An opportunity has arisen within the Markets Service for a Markets Finance Officer. This is an exciting time to join the Markets Service to support our new city centre market in Darley Street along with our other markets.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting an effective financial function across the Markets Service portfolio. The successful candidate will be working alongside another Markets Finance Officer and reporting to the Markets Finance Manager.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our friendly team.
