Job Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated Network Engineer to join our us in the Network Resilience and Management Team, which manages, monitors and coordinates roads and streetworks, highway events, highway enforcement and general statutory highway functions across the whole of Bradford District.
This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city, ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Traffic Management Act 2004, New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and the City of Bradford Permit Scheme (2019)
The main responsibilities of this role:
- To implement procedures in respect of the Traffic Management Act 2004, the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and the Highways Act 1980.
- Assist the Network Coordinator in meeting the Network Management and co-ordination duties
- Assist the Network Coordinator with the full financial and administration service for the Network Resilience and Management section within a defined geographic area of the District.
