Bradford Council Public Health team are seeking to recruit – Public Health Advanced Practitioner (CYP Voice and Influence) full time permanent role.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Healthy Communities team in Public Health department. Taking a partnership approach, this new post will be working in a matrix way with the new ‘Voice and Influence Unit’ based within Bradford Children Families Trust (BCFT) and who will champion and develop ‘Family Friendly’ and child-rights based approaches within the Local Authority, with a focus on developing and embedding our council’s approaches to Voice and Influence. This post will be key in progressing the work to support our young people and families, improve voice and influence especially bringing seldom hear voice addressing health inequalities across Bradford District.
The post holder will contribute to key public health outcomes through the management of workstreams and projects within a portfolio of priority health programmes, with a specific focus on the voice and influence of Children and Young People. Working at both strategic and operational levels, they will coordinate and lead workstreams and projects using and developing appropriate systems and processes to achieve agreed outcomes. They will work in collaboration with colleagues to ensure public health is central to all Bradford commissioning activity and will contribute to developing public health capacity and capability within a range of local organisations and settings.
