SEND 0-25 Integrated Assessment Manager,SEND Integrated Assessment Team
Hours: 37 hoursper week, based at Britannia House, Bradford (Flexible working)

Bradford SEND Integrated Assessment Service is responsible for the oversight and management of over 8000 Education Health and Care Plans (EHC Plans). We have worked hard to build a permanent, secure and resilient team with the skills and expertise to deliver high quality EHC Plans that meet the needs of children and young people. Our new service manager will have the vision, passion, expertise, and ability to innovatively lead the service forward.
Our service works with young people,parents, schools, education providers and other stakeholders to put in placeplans and provision for young people in the district with the greatest level ofneed. With the backing of senior leadership, you will have the opportunityto make a difference and further develop a forward thinking and innovativeservice. Working in a statutory, multi-professional environment presents a range of challenges but also incredible opportunity to transform the wider SEND system so that we get it right for every child.
You will be able to:
- Lead well: Manage our SEND Integrated Assessment Service with a blend of strategic vision and hands-on leadership, ensuring the highest quality practice.
- Inspire and develop: Provide guidance and professional development to a team of talented managers, casework officers and annual review officers, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate creatively: Work with parents, schools, and other stakeholders to craft and implement effective practice.
- Assess and Advise: Oversee the EHC Needs Assessment and Review processes and decision making, providing expert advice to achieve best outcomes, highest quality and continued statutory compliance.
- Innovate practice: Develop and implement forward-thinking processes and procedures to ensure continued improvement.
- Evaluate and Improve: Monitor and evaluate the impact of our service, using data to understand what is needed and when.
- Be Our Ambassador: Represent our service at local and national forums, contributing to the evolution of the service
As team manager, you will shape local practice, working in partnership with schools and others to drive inclusion and SEND improvement at all levels so that when an EHC Plan is required it clearly meets the need of the child.
