Bradford Council Skills for Work  would like to recruit permanent Senior  Tutor Functional English Maths Digital /Life Skills NEET 16years+ 

who is enthusiastic, competent, and flexible.

 

You will be expected to demonstrate your ability to meet the special knowledge, experience, qualifications required for the role which will be used for shortlisting.

The key competencies we are looking for in a suitable candidate – ability to:

 

Essential Qualifications: MUST HAVE : 

Certificate of Education, a L4 Teaching Qualification or PGCE,

 

MUST have Level 2 or equivalent Maths and English. 

 

Assessor Award A1or equivalent (if delivering vocational programmes). 

 

MUST HAVE : Evidence of MATHS/English certification and Digital/ICT Skills.

  • To provide a peripatetic teaching and learning service to a wide range of learners 16years +  requiring entry level to Level Two Functional skills and learners following higher level vocational learning programmes. 
  • To plan and implement practical training experiences for the learners, and to monitor and review their progress throughout their period of training, ensuring timely achievement of learning aims and to maximise retention.
