Specialist Practitioner

We are looking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Specialist Practitioner who is passionate about making a difference to the learning opportunities for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the Bradford district.
You will join a dedicated team to provide assessment, advice, support, modelling and training for children and young people with SEND and settings and schools.
Experience of working with children and young people with SEND (in particular Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Cognition and Learning or Communication and Interaction needs) and families, schools and settings is essential.
Salary: S01/SO2 (SCP 23-28): £34,434 - £39,152 pa FTE (£17.85 - £20.29 per hour) – Pro-rata for part-time, Term Time Only (TTO) posts 2 x 30 hours per week Term Time Only (39 weeks per year) e.g. TTO salary for under 5 years’ service at 30 hours per week would be
£24,234 - £27,554 pa and 5+ years’ service at 30 hours per week would be £24,569 - £27,935 pa 1 x 23 hours per week Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
