Street Cleansing Operative

Job Introduction

We are looking for Street Cleansing Operatives to join our dedicated team in the Parks & Street Cleansing in Keighley This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city. 

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Undertake environmental activities such are the sweeping, clearance and removal of litter, silt, leaves, weeds and any other foreign materials from pavements, precincts, road surfaces, central reservations, grass verges, flower beds and land.
  • .Work as part of a team and on their own
  • .Carry out all work to a high standard with particular regard to attention to detail
  •  to be aware of the appropriate measures required to ensure that ones self, other team members and the public are safe when work is carried out.
  •  to be responsible for issued PPE, equipment etc.
