Team Manager

Job Introduction

We are looking for a team manager to join our dedicated Safeguarding Adults Service in the Department of Adult Social Care, Health and Housing. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.

The Safeguarding Adults Service is based in Britannia House and supports the whole of Bradford district.  The service responds to safeguarding concerns reported to the Council and undertakes safeguarding enquiries alongside providing advice and guidance to citizens and system partners.  Operation is in line with section 42 Care Act 2014 and is guided by the local safeguarding adults policy and procedure.

Our vacancy is for a team manager who will work as part of the wider leadership team to support safe and successful daily practise.  Line management will be provided to advanced practitioners and social workers with varying levels of experience.  A mix of office-based and home-based working will be necessary and we provide a high degree of flexibility to manage this.  We are proud to have cultivated a highly supportive and inclusive culture which strives for excellence.  Making Safeguarding Personal and the promotion of human rights is at the centre of all that we do.

Regular supervision will be provided along with an annual appraisal.  The Department offers a comprehensive training programme and half a day each month to maintain continuing professional development.
