Job Introduction
This vitally important post encompasses the front of house delivery across our four museums. Our team are the first point of contact for visitors and the successful candidate must have a diverse skill set to meet the requirements of the job. This includes evidence of:
- Good Customer Service
- Reception and Shop duties
- Security
- CCTV monitoring
- Cleaning and Maintenance
- Building Custodianship
- Fire Marshalling
The role does include some heavy lifting & ladder work. An element of Health and Safety knowledge is required and therefore an IOSH working safely qualification would be an advantage.
Please Note: The Temporary Visitor Assistant post is to cover the period of Turner Prize at Cartwright Hall from September 2025 to February 2026. There will be extended opening hours which will cover the hours between 8:00am to 6:30 / 9:30pm on some occasions.
