Job Introduction

Bradford Theatres is offering an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for live events and theatre who is looking to develop a career in Events and Arts Programming in the region’s best known Theatre and Concert Halls.

Bradford Theatres comprises of the prestigious Alhambra Theatre, St George’s Hall. The Studio and Kings Hall Ilkley, offering the best of West End Musicals, Dance, Drama, Comedy, Live Music and Community Events. 

Role Description

The successful candidate will support the Programme Manager and Deputy General Manager in all aspects of the Programming department including drafting contracts, dealing with general event enquiries, diary management, general administrative and finance procedures. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated person to develop their career and to assist in shaping the programming of the venues.

 The successful candidate will be well organised, an excellent communicator and keen advocate of all forms of live entertainment.

They will be educated to A levels / Higher National Diploma / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject (performing arts, event management, finance or business studies) and have programming, arts management or arts administration experience, preferably in an arts company, theatre or venue.
