Job Introduction
This vitally important post delivers the front of house delivery across four museum sites being the first point of contact for our visitors.
The successful candidate will have a diverse skill set in order to meet the requirements of the job which include good customer service, reception and shop duties, security, key-holding, CCTV monitoring, cleaning and maintenance, building custodianship and fire marshalling.
The role does include some heavy lifting & ladder work.
An element of Health and Safety knowledge is required for the post and therefore an IOSH working safely qualification would be an advantage.
The postholder may have the opportunity to opportunity to operate historic machinery subject to training.
The post holder will be required to work across our 4 sites as required.
Please note that the working hours are on a 4-week rolling rota which includes working 3 weekends out of 4.
