Job Introduction
An opportunity has arisen for the above position, to work at the Authority’s Harris Street and Stockbridge Depots undertaking waste collection duties across the Bradford Metropolitan District, working a 4 day working week Tuesday to Friday.
You will be willing to undertake both loading duties & liaising with members of the public, you will be required and expected to carryout additional training as required in line with the department’s operational requirements.
You will
- Be able to undertake Lifting, Walking long distances, carrying, bending & be willing to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Be capable of working individually or part of a team.
- Have an understanding and able to apply written and verbal instructions and to complete daily work sheets and documentation.
- Have a geographical knowledge of Bradford Metropolitan District.
