Job Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest pension funds during a time of exciting digital transformation. You'll be working in the Comms Team in a small team of developers building new digital solutions for the fund and our shared service administration clients. 

As a web developer you will manage and develop web solutions at both the front-end (website and application user-facing elements) and back-end (database maintenance, debugging and creation/maintenance of foundational code). Because you’ll be responsible for developing and managing the full life-cycle of web based applications this role will give you a fantastic opportunity to further develop your professional skills.


 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Develop new digital developments
  • Build new features and experiences in our Umbracco project 
  • Manage and maintain platforms
You will be expected to have detailed knowledge of multiple languages including Python and be able to demonstrate proven experience in a developer role utilising best practice methodologies and code versioning practices. The scope of the role also requires knowledge and experience building APIs and connecting to various database infrastructures.
