Casual Front of House Assistant

Job Introduction

Do you wish to join our well established and friendly Front of House team within Bradford Theatres to deliver a first-class customer experience to our patrons? If so, we are looking to increase our casual team based at the King’s Hall and Winter Garden in Ilkley. 

Applicants must have experience of working face to face with members of the public and have excellent communication skills. You must be 18 years or over, eligible to work in the UK and have the relevant documentation to substantiate this. You will work regularly throughout the year including bank holidays, mainly during evenings and weekends, and possess excellent communication skills both spoken and written.

King’s Hall & Winter Garden has an audience capacity of 550 and we host a variety of performances, functions and events at our venue. Successful applicants will be enthusiastic and deliver the highest standard of customer service in a front facing environment. You will monitor audience behaviour to ensure the safety of venue and patrons and assist in emergency evacuations and lock downs. 

You will check tickets quickly and accurately for the date, time, venue, show, level and seat number. 

You will maximize sales of ices and merchandise, inclusive of accurate cash handling, till use and basic stock control, and complete some cleaning duties during and after the performance.

Applicants will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, and display willingness to learn and update personal training as required.
