Commissioning and Contracts Support Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated Commissioning & Contract Support Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the commissioning process by assisting in the planning, development, and evaluation of commissioned services.

This is an exciting time to join the Children’s Commissioning Team as we look to further build the capacity of the service, delivering as a professional, resilient and well-established contracts and commissioning service, which now covers all ‘people commissioning’ functions.

You will be joining a supportive and highly skilled team which champions Bradford’s commissioning and contract management practice and functions as key driver for developing services for both public health and for children within the wider health and care partnership.  

The post holder will work to support the wider children’s commissioning and contract management team that commissions early help, SEND and education services as well as other specialist services

 You will assist in gathering, analysing, and presenting data to inform commissioning decisions and support the procurement and contract management processes, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
