This is an exciting time to join the Contracts & Quality Team as we look to further build the capacity of the service which now covers all ‘people commissioning’ functions at BMDC.
You will be working in a team that supports children’s and public health services. This particular role will support the newly formed Bradford Children and Families Trust (Bradford Children and Families Trust (bradfordcft.org.uk) to ensure their commissioned services achieve positive outcomes for children and families and provide excellent value for money for the Trust.
Candidates will be passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and will have a good understanding of how contract management and quality assurance approaches and partnership working is utilised to improve service quality.
Candidates will also have a good understanding of the issues impacting children’s social care services, including placements provision and how quality assurance processes play a critical role in achieving positive outcomes.
The Contract & Quality function is essential to the successful delivery of the aims of the Council, the Trust, and partners in ensuring that children and families receive the support they need to ensure children can live happy and healthy lives and have bright futures.
We are looking for candidates who are pro-active, motivated and have the ability to work with others to solve problems and look for solutions. - Candidates should have direct experience of having undertaken complex contract management, an ability to lead and to line manage.
- An understanding of children’s social care, including placements provision, the challenges and opportunities
- Experience of service monitoring, quality assurance and an ability to work with partners to drive service improvement.
- An ability to work pro-actively and act on own initiative.
