Job Introduction
The Deaf and MSI Children’s Service is a large, enthusiastic and dynamic team of specialists providing teaching and support for Deaf and MSI children and young people. We work with three schools that host a Local Authority Led Resourced Provision and peripatetically across the Bradford local authority.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, dedicated and creative Deaf Instructor (DI) to join our team of professionals to work with deaf children across the Deaf and MSI Children’s Service, in the Local Authority Led Resourced Provisions (LARP) and across the Outreach Team. This post will initially be based at Swain House Primary School.

Ideally you will have experience of working as a Deaf Instructor with deaf children and young people. You must have the ability to demonstrate skills in British Sign Language at a minimum of Level 3 and have a willingness to develop your skills in teaching British Sign Language. There will be opportunity within the service to do this.
An Enhanced Disclosure check with Barred List will be undertaken for this post.
