Digital Channels Manager (Living Well Communications and Projects Engagement Officer)

Job Introduction

Bradford Council Public Health department are seeking to recruit a Digital Channels Manager (Living Well Communications and Projects Engagement Officer) to join our dedicated team in the Healthy Communities team. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city by providing comprehensive internal and external marketing and communications as part of the Public Health’s ambition of making it easier for everyone to live healthier, more active lives.

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage the planning and execution of campaigns, materials, events, and activities including Bradford Baby Week, a key campaign for the First 1001 Days
  • Lead the development and management of the Public Health’s digital communication channels
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate integrated marketing, communications, and Public Health promotion strategies
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, elected members, external partners, clients, and suppliers
  • Advise senior managers, elected members, and partner organisations on marketing and communications issues
  • Manage proactive and reactive media relations

Public Health is part of a Health and Wellbeing Department that includes Adult Social Care and Environmental Health.  Bradford Council is large unitary authority with an excellent reputation.
