Head of Service - Intelligent Client Function & Data Analytics

Job Introduction

Bradford Children's Services are looking for a Head of Service to join our Improvement and Partnerships Executive Team.

Reporting to the Assistant Director for Improvement and Partnerships, the post will have responsibility for effectively managing the contract for the Bradford Children's and Families Trust including budgets, payments and performance.  Ensuring that appropriate contract management principles are established and adhered to in order to deliver relevant targets and objectives and to achieve the high standard service required.  The post also has the lead on ensuring that data is produced and analysed to support delivery and performance across Children's Services.

This will include developing, managing and leading key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally, including building and maintaining a good working partnership with the Trust and ensuring effective communication on all matters affecting contract and service delivery. The effective development and management of all appropriate governance arrangements including all relevant systems and processes, ensuring best practice across the ICF targeting opportunities to maximise delivery and value for money.

The post holder will also need to lead and effectively manage the ICF team in accordance with the principles of performance management and ensuring that the required standards of service quality are maintained. 

The post holder will place children and their families at the centre of all they do and uphold the values and polices of the Council. The post holder will understand the needs of the diverse population of the Bradford District ensuring better outcomes for individuals and carers that are measurable and demonstrable within available resources.
