Job Introduction
Bradford Council’s Legal Team is at the heart of the Council, providing expert in-house legal services that help shape the future of our district. We play a vital role in delivering key public services, offering high-quality advice and representation across a broad range of disciplines.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Legal Secretary to join our Property, Commercial and Development Law Team.
We are a busy team responsible for providing specialist advice on Covering property, contracts, and development projects that drive economic growth and regeneration in Bradford, plus other planning and highways legal issues.
The main responsibilities of this role will be:
- Processing routine legal work
- Co-ordinating the organisation and layout of the Council archives allowing the retrieval and return, daily of deed and agreement packets.
- Answering routine correspondence
Applicants must have:
Experience of office/clerical work and a willingness to learn
GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English
IT skills across a range of IT packages
