Job Introduction
We have some excellent job opportunities available in area teams across the district and are currently seeking practical and enthusiastic people, with a passion for creating positive change in Bradford’s neighbourhoods.
You don’t need any prior experience as we’ll provide you with on-the-job training with opportunities to learn and develop your skills even further.
As part of your role, you’ll be assigned a ‘patch’, allowing you to get to know the community and build strong relationships with residents and community groups. This personal touch will enable you to understand the unique needs of individuals and families. You’ll be working alongside our Neighbourhood Connect Project which involves carrying out visits, providing support and linking people to local services.
One day you will be supporting residents to organise a fun day, the next day you could be working alongside Youth Services to run a food bank, or you could be delivering educational work to help reduce air pollution, particularly around schools.
So, if you have a passion for community development, a desire to make a difference and want a chance to grow both personally and professionally, we want to hear from you!
The recruitment process requires all candidates to complete the online application form and must be available to attend a 1/2 day pre-screening assessment day which will be held on the following date:
Friday 23rd May 2025 09:30 - 13:30
An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
