Reablement Support Worker

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Reablement Support Worker to work within The Bradford Reablement Service (formerly known as BEST) for Bradford Metropolitan District Council in the Keighley area of the Bradford district. 

31.5 hours (average) per week.

This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city. 

The main responsibilities of this role:

  • Re-able individuals in community settings
  • To support with daily living tasks
  • Document accurate records on digital devices
  • Support with personal cares
  • Support individuals to regain independence 
  • Treat individuals with dignity and respect

Service provision operates on a a 2-week rolling rota as follows:

Week one: Monday, Saturday, Sunday

Week two: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

The work schedule is:

07:30 -12.30 break 18:00-22:00 on each of these days; we are unable to condense hours into fewer working days.

We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Driving licence

You will need a full UK (manual) driving licence for these roles. (Transport is provided).

Qualification

You must have or be willing to work towards the Care Certificate and QCF level 2 diploma in health and social care.  

An Enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
