SEND Programme Facilitator

Job Introduction

We are recruiting two SEND Programme Facilitators to work across the district as part of the Families SEND Support Team. 
The team offers a range of support for parents and carers with children who have special educational needs and disabilities. Part of this role will be to deliver evidenced based programmes across the district and conduct home visits.

As well as having excellent knowledge and skills relating to children and young people with SEND, you will also have experience of working with parents and carers. You will be confident in working with other agencies and be a flexible and positive team member.
You will need:
  • A relevant Level 3 professional qualification related to working with children, young people and families, with evidence of on-going training and CPD.
  • GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English & Math's (or equivalent) 
  • Recent experience of delivering groups to parents. 
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and their families.
  • Evidence of training in and responding to safeguarding issues.
