Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen to to join our Intelligence and Sufficiency Service in Bradford. We are looking for an experienced leader to support the Head of Service in overseeing the strategic planning of 0-16 learning places, including places for children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities. The post will also have responsibility for ensuring the strategic direction of Early Years Childcare Quality, Early Education Funding and Access and Take-Up Teams and ensure key statutory responsibilities are adhered to.
We are looking for an exceptional leader who is committed to delivering best practice across the District. Using excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll liaise with colleagues internally and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative working partnerships are developed and maintained to support the work of the team.
You’ll be creative, innovative and motivated to support the Head of Service and each team lead, managing the effective planning of 0-16 learning places. You will have extensive knowledge of the childcare market, as well as how schools and Multi Academy Trusts operate. It is expected that you will have knowledge of DfE statutory guidance around place planning, Ofsted requirements relating to both childcare providers and schools as well as the EYFS framework.
You must be able to demonstrate using and interpreting large complex data sets to support strategies around 0-16 place planning, as well as being able to present these to different audiences. Experience of SEND place planning is desirable.
