Job Introduction
We recruiting a Business Support Officer based with the passenger transport team at the Shearbridge Deport, Bradford.
As a member of the PTS Team, you will play a vital role in the operation and implementation of a safe, compliant and cost-efficient service for approx. 300 home-based SEN Passenger Escorts and 160 depot-based PTS Bus Drivers and Escorts and ensure the smooth operational running of the PTS function.
We are looking for individuals who can plan and manage their own time based on business priorities. The key purpose of the role to provide an administration and clerical support functions for passenger transport services.
- Data input/updating
- tracking and monitoring cases, extracting of information from various sources for various reports and audiences
- Updating chronologies and document management.
- Diary management and scheduling of training
- Booking meeting rooms
- Accurate note taking
- Support teams with recruitment and onboarding
- General administrative tasks, mail merge, letter writing, taking calls, ordering stationary and taking notes from absence and capability hearings
- Managing payments
You will need to be an excellent communicator and experience of dealing with service users, approved suppliers, professionals and team members over the phone and via email.
You will need to have good IT skills and able to use a variety of complex IT packages and a keen eye for detail.
Candidates need to have previous administration experience.
