Join Our Team as a Casual Box Office Salesclerk!

Bradford Theatres is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our casual register as Casual Box Office Salesclerks, supporting our busy Box Office operations across our iconic venues – the Alhambra Theatre, St George’s Concert Hall, and The Studio.

As part of our dedicated Box Office team, you will be the first point of contact for our audiences, providing exceptional customer service while selling tickets and related services in person, over the phone, by post, and through approved agencies.

 The main responsibilities of this role:

  • To provide a courteous and helpful service to all customers, working in accordance with approved financial, booking systems and procedures.
  • To process advance and confirmed customer bookings and reservations in person, by telephone, post and online for both Bradford Theatres and external events using the organisation’s CRM & Ticketing system (Spektrix) and manual ticket sales system.
  • To collect and balance accurately payments made by cash, cheque, credit/debit card, gift voucher and promoter accounts for all forms of booking.
  • To advise and assist customers with complaints and enquiries and refer to senior staff where appropriate.
  • To input and update customer sales, financial and marketing information into an integrated computerised sales and marketing system.
  • To demonstrate a commitment to carry out those duties in the best interests of Bradford Theatres, their customers, sponsors, visiting artistes and other users, adopting the highest standards of customer service.
  • Applicants must have the ability to work both using their own initiative and as part of a team, and display willingness to learn and update personal training as required.
