Duty Officer

Job Introduction

The Council’s Leisure Service is the largest leisure provider in the district with over 2 million customers each year visiting our sports centres, swimming pools and halls. Our ‘b active’ campaign continues to encourage Bradford’s residents to be more physically active and we are now seeking additional committed and highly motivated people to help us continue with this work.

 

Bowling Pool & Gym is now looking to recruit a new Duty Officer who is lively, enthusiastic and committed to joining our team. If you feel you have what it takes, enjoy meeting and working with the public and can provide the highest standards of service we would like to hear from you.

 

Duties include: To be responsible for the day to day running of Bowling Pool & Gym, ensuring both staff and customer safety, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines, opening up/closing, ordering of goods, responsible for staff training

The successful candidates will already have a good background within the Leisure field and be able to work on poolside, provide cover for swimming lessons, act as designated First Aid person and be proficient and qualified in pool plant operations.

 

It is a requirement of the post that you must be able to work evenings, weekends, early mornings and bank holidays as required by the needs of the service.
