Office Manager - Waste & Fleet

Job Introduction

Waste & Fleet Services are looking to recruit an Office Manager to be responsible for the daily management of all depot/office requirements across the service.

Waste Services operates with more than 250 staff to ensure the various domestic and business collections are provided to over 220,000 properties and 3,000 customers. We provide collections of; general waste, recycling, bulky waste, garden waste and trade waste, using over 50 refuse collection vehicles. 

This role is inclusive of database management, customer queries/resolution, FOI responses, arranging depot repairs/maintenance, arranging training, facilitating payments and arranging meetings.

The successful applicant will attend and record meetings, create agendas, liaise with contractors and ensure GDPR/ICT compliance across the service. 

The role is based at Harris Street depot, Bradford. 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, flexible daily hours between 7am and 5pm. Hybrid working possible but must be office-based on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday as a minimum.


 Applicants must have: 

·       Experience of clerical/administrative Management 

·        Experience of building and depot maintenance/repair requirements

·        Experience of GDPR compliance

·        NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject


 A full driving licence is essential for this post.
