Administration Support Officer

Job Introduction

On behalf of Employment and Skills Service, Bradford Metropolitan District Council seeks to appoint a number of Administration Support Officers to join the SkillsHouse team:

 SkillsHouse Bradford - an all age guidance service which supports people in the Bradford District to achieve their career and training goals. We can provide useful tools, bespoke tailored support and resources to help you overcome any barriers to achieving life changing employment opportunities, equipping individuals with all they need to succeed.

 The Administrative Support Officer role is an excellent opportunity for you to play a key part in an exciting service that improves outcomes for the people of Bradford. Working as part of a wider team, you will support with the administration of programmes of work to meet the aims and ambitions of the Employment and Skills Service.

 This role provides opportunities for you to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills through supporting tasks that engage our key stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring and updating of local education/careers information by contributing to and updating key documentation, assisting in the organising of programme/project/CRM administration across the team and liaising with team member to ensure SkillsHouse is organised, changes are communicated to ensure running of an efficient team. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem solving and have a passion for making a difference, then this could be for you!

To apply for this role, you will need to evidence 5 GCSEs (grade A-C/9-4), including English language and Maths, or equivalent qualifications and experience. 

In addition, a level 3 qualification in a related area to the post, for example, business administration, would be desirable.
