Customer Support Officer

Job Introduction

Currently based at Safe and Sound, Cornerstones, Cottingley, BD16 1AQ. 

This service will be relocating to Valley View Court BD22 7NU later in 2025


Bradford Adult Social Care operate Safe & Sound, a 24-hour community alarm service that provides a monitoring provision to older and vulnerable people throughout the Bradford and Airedale district. 

Our aim is to provide peace of mind and emergency support to users within their own home via the use of Technology Enabled Care.

The main responsibility of the role is to support the financial management of the user accounts, ensuring invoices are generated and accounts maintained throughout the user’s contract term.

You will be required to work alongside the installation service, dealing with account queries, and regular contact with internal financial teams to ensure service user accounts are maintained appropriately. 

Experience dealing with financial records, generating invoices, and the use of SAP would be desirable although training will be provided.  

In this role you will also work alongside the Control Room Manager, team leader and Operators to offer support and carry out general administration duties within the service, this will include greeting visitors to the building, dealing within incoming/outgoing post and ordering stationary for the Safe and Sound Control Room (ARC).  

It would be beneficial to have previous customer service knowledge including experience of telephone information/advice work with an ability to write concisely and legibly, together with experience of using a range of computer systems/information technology. 

You will be required to record, maintain and communicate relevant information both in writing and verbally, in line with the Councils GDPR and data protection policies.

You must have at least 3 GCSE at grade C and above to include Math's and English, Alternatively NVQ 2 or above in Administration.
