TOWN WARDEN
Good holidays plus membership of Local Government Pension Scheme
A permanent part-time post (20 hours per week), The Town Warden will work to maintain the local environment to a high standard and will undertake a range of practical environmental and cleansing duties, such as litter picking, clearing snickets, maintaining hedges and leaf-sweeping.
The job will be varied, with no two days being the same. The Town Warden will be part of a small team of Ilkley Town Council staff.
The successful applicant will have good practical skills and good communication skills as they will be interacting with members of the public, Councillors and other organisations in both verbal and written formats. The Town Warden needs to be organised, flexible and able to show initiative when required.
Training will be provided as necessary.
